Favourite motor manufacturer.
I think there are only a few contenders TBH. It's not a poll on super cars, just the common stuff. Oh yea, and no subarus - build quality, nickability and boy racer image gets it rulled out, they are not in the same league.

Porsche - BMW similarities
There is more cross over between Porsche and BMW in their product line than you would first think. Quite a few of the BMW's are pretty specialist type purchases, M3,M5,6 Series,330Ci,Z3/4 plus they both compete in 4x4 market.
I've had both Porsche and BMW from new and BMW was better engineered in many(not all) respects, the price differential of a top end BMW is in the same ballpark as 996 etc. I have no real issues with the 996 just that the 5 Series as a daily car was an extremely good allrounder with no issues throughout ownership.

Honda for technical supremacy and innovative engineering.
To extract 240 bhp from a NA 2 litre lump, is pretty special in my mind. A standard UK scoob doesnt achieve that with a good size blower on it, and drinks fuel like no ones business.
Not to mention the NSX, or their F1 history.
For me, they cant put a foot wrong.
