Who owns which car manufacturer?
It's constantly changing, but who owns what at the moment?
For example:
VAG: VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Bucatti
Just interested who owns the other major car manufacturers!

Toyota =
Toyota
Lexus
Daihatsu
Hinari
Gets
Will
You may have only heard of the first 3 but there are in fact currently 5 separate dealer networks in Japan to sell Toyota group vehicles, shortly to become 6 as they will soon establish a Lexus network here too.
Toyota:
World's most profitable auto company (US$2,000 profit per vehicle)
Second only to GM in number of vehicles sold 2003 (overtaking both Daimler Chryser and Ford in last 24 months)

Lexus
Daihatsu

It would be simpler to ask how many manufacturers remain independant.
TVR, Morgan, Caterham, Venturi and Pagani spring to mind but they are all niche players.

Not 100% on the Ford owning Mazda, but there is some relationship there as our new Mazda 3 is based on the Ford Focus chassis as is the new Volvo V40.

The 5 dealer networks are Toyota, Toyota Toyopet, Toyota Corolla, Vista, and Netz.
The Will brand is created by a venture between Toyota & a host of other companies (e.g. Matsu****a Electric), much like GM created Saturn.

...and Hinari should be Hino (Hino Motors Ltd)
I blame the sake
Toyots Corolla is a specific model, not a separate brand (product of Kanto Auto Works Ltd)
Will is a Toyota brand (from Central Motor Co Ltd)
