Been looking to buy an early Impreza ,WRX/STI1 ,cant find one(have had 2 previously)... what with a tightish budget and a car to p/x private buys are out........ the trade doesn't have many suitable at my price either. Whilst searching the Auto trader site I saw (sharp intake of breath) an Evo 2 at a dealers , maybe going to have a look tomorrow( try not to LOOK to hard eh they are so f*ckin ugly).
Any of you had both ,lookin for comparisons in performance and running costs.


I might get over it by tomorrow and see the light!

Can you not sell your car privately then borrow a car off someone (or even buy a £300 runaround) then your options will open up a bit more. You can always sell the £300 car on a month later for the same money.

Correct Jay m A , have seen sense(maybe), going to try and hold out for Impreza, although the Mits Evo is still an option if i've had no luck on the scooby front. Still interested in the comparisons between the two .....
