As I saw one on the M1 yesterday! It looked lovely, in a mid-silver colour. It was just running with the traffic at about 80ish. Just wondering if they'd been released yet.

If you were round about Newport Pagnell on the M1, that is where the main Aston Factory is, so could have been out testing.

If you are interested, I have a mate who works for Aston, so could get you any info you want.

DB9 production is at Gaydon not Newport - but Newport seems to be the place these cars first appear on the streets though

It was further north than NP - probably more around Sheffield but going south, so could easily have been returning there. Where's Gaydon - Essex?

Gaydon is in Warwickshire, between Banbury and Warwick (just off junction 13 of the M40 I think). It's been a motor heritage centre for years but now Aston Martin have a new state of the art manufacturing plant there. So no more wheeling the engine over the road to the body shop then over the road to the electrics then over the road to the finishing shop at their Newport Pagnell site No wonder the cars are so bleedin expensive

I think it was a DB9 shell that was sitting in the Workshop with the 550 maranellos at Prodrive when we did our tour last month. I believe they are helping them prepare it for Le Mans.
