Question DB9 wiring?

Hi

I just bought an RJ11-DB9 converter & it came with no pins connected. There are six wired pins & 9 sockets to put them in. Can anyone help with a regular pin wiring for a DB9 plug please?

The wires are:
Red, Green, Blue, Black, Yellow & White.

The purpose of the converter is to plug a cash drawer (which has an RJ11 cable) into the DB9 serial socket in a pc.

Regards
Nick

9 pin D socket doesn't have a single way of wiring, it'll be down to the protocol used between the two devices. You'll need a wiring diagram to be able to connect them.
