Gutmann pug

Thinking about one for my other half as a company car. She does around 22K miles per year. Same engine as the old 150BHP diesel golf. I have driven one of those and thought it was pretty good.
Anyone got any opinions on the Leon version?

£16K as opposed to £18K for the VW version. Also what are Seat delaers like for doing 'a deal'? VW wont budge a penny.

Last but not least when is the car to be updated with a new model?

Good or bad Im interested in knowing your opinions please. She is part ex'ing the 172 in on it.

my brother is about to order one- i found it a bit noisy compared to the gold but certainly as quick and i drove it bac k to back with the 1.8t and found little difference.


got all the toys and if you do the miles to make the most of 45mpg then its cool.

as for dealers....they have got a wait list on these and are in no mood to deal...however HUNT on the net, my brother is paying "14,500 for a brand new UK car with met paint and cruise via a broker service that put the order out to every seta dealer in the land...clearly someone needed the units that day! His arrives in march sometime.
