Each to their own, but I think they are good cars - different to a Scoob yes, but still a good car.

"Ally tax disc holder" WTF?
IMO, TTs are too common, and if you are after performance or looks many other cars that look better and go faster and less common.
They are the BMW 318's of the new millenium.
But if the owner's enjoy their cars then good for them...my friend has sold his M3 Evo for the 3.6TT and can't wait (I tried to get him on the STi-PPP route, but he didn't want the attention it would bring).

my friends, for everyone who is slagging off TTs' and scoobies, why are you all being soo childish? if you want a good built, and decent looking car(opinion) feel free to buy a TT and if you want a rally beast buy a scooby? Hope i dont offend anyone but your making fools of yourselves and the boards-grow up.

Gotta agree Kam.
Alot of prospective owners often look to the forums for opinions of the car they are potentially going to buy. There is a tendancy for different cars to be stereo typed into different categories. For example Nova's I wouldn't get one partially coz they are pieces of junk but also I don't want to be classified as an underage ****.
Scooby owners do not inherit a stereotype otherwise you will find that your car will be stereotyped into a less desirable category.
If I ever saw some of the drivel that some people have been posting on this thread I would steer well away from a scooby and get something like a Lancer EVO.

99% of people have never heard of a 200sx or didnt know it is a turbo.
It seems to me that everyone but me wants a bimmer,tt,golf.
i would rather have a Teg r ,s2000,200sx,fto than a TT.
There slow, overpriced, overatted, and made up of bits of other cars.........
as for they look good only at easter or when there going over 80mph and start to fly of the road.

he didnt want to the attention, in other words he didnt want a **** jap crap box, so he bought a proper built car. i love the way subaru drivers lie to themselves.
if TT cars are hairdressers cars, then in all reality a WRX is a hairdressers car, its a watered down piece of **** and it aint radically fast unless u MODIFY it

I don't really mind the TT, but I have had a couple of modded S3's which is a slightly better drive than the TT, they don't come anywhere near my P1 in any area other than interior, but if I need a nice interior, I'll spend it on my house!
