The guy is a 'regular' taxi driver whose pug converts to a sports car - splitter lowers down, spoiler comes out the rear, sports wheel gets slapped on.

Its kinda cool for car chases etc.

I imagine that the abova car is taken one step further.

TAXI 2 film car.

It is a show car. It is the modified variant from Taxi as used in Taxi 2.

It is a superb movie. The start is classic. WRC car coming through a stage and then this taxi pulls in behind flashing to get past.

Note: the wings aren't out all the time.

There is a gang of Yakuza in the second movie that use Mitsubishi Evos.

The police chief is classic. 'Operation Cobra'.

The first and second movies can be had from Sainsburys for a fiver each on DVD.

Well worth watching for a laugh. And there's a couple fit birds in there. The German cop is super fit. Especially in the second one.

You've got to love the final chase with the MErcs in the first one too.

Forgot to mention. Luc Besson, the director, brought us classics like The Big Blue and The Fifth Element.

Both movies are one of my DVD finds from last year. That's for sure.

Seems not many here have seen Taxi 2 though. Just as funny. Funnier if you have seen the first. All the same characters. And Mitsi Evos vs. tanks which is always nice to see.
