It's snow fun
#1
I've never been much of a thrill seeker behind the wheel and understeer and oversteer has always been a bit of a mystery to me. Anyway, in my neck of the woods the snow and ice are thick on the ground and all the local schools are closed so I decided to drive (slowly) to the local leisure centre for a swim with my daughter. Leisure centre park almost deserted, the car slides slightly as I take the corner. Now, this would usually be a signal for me to tip toe carefully but hey there were hardly any cars and no one about so rather than head for a parking space I took a whirl round the car park. Accelarating, braking and opposite lock to straighten
her up...bloody hell this is fun. Plenty of gas and turn the wheel round the bend and blimey could this be power oversteer. Lots of wheel turning and sliding about. Oh what fun. "Dad, can we go into the pool now?" Fun ended. After the swim took another few laps of the car park before heading home.
I just thought I'd share that with someone.
