I am another one who has gone from WRX to DC5. Not quite. I have got a DC5 and kept the WRX. I like it. And it is quite different from the Scooby.

IMHO the best FWD new car on the market by some distance, everything that is not so good on the EP3 is excellent on the DC5, my only gripes are the Steering wheel is too big IMHO and the gear shift would be nice to be in the same place as the EP3.
The extra power is hardly noticable over the EP3, and round a track there aint much difference, but the LSD helps the DC5 pull the advantage.
The build quality is 50 times better too.
The CTR could be as good, LSD, nicer shape, sharpen up the steering even more than 04MY, and sort out the interior, big recaros please.

I like the DC5 lots too, don't think it stands up to it's older brother the DC2 in alround great track day car for the road. I think the DC2 is the best FWD chassis in the world, closely followed by the DC5. Although if I had the cashola I'd get me a DC5 it's prettier ha ha!
If you go on the Evo.co.uk website there is an article testing the EP3, DC5 and DC2 and comparing them. I think the general gist is that the DC5 (in their opinion) wasn't all that much better than the EP3 considering the higher price point, IE if you're strapped for cash, it is't really worth the extra. However, if you had the cahs you would!
Lovely looking car IMO, saw one of Lichfields one at Trax, really nice inside too!

I have a ATR which I bought last yea, I'm thinkin of gettin the new ITR in the summer, anyone know if Honda UK will ok ok to service it or will it need to go to an import specist

Honda UK are not at all iffy about them. They are quite happy to service them. They are also quite happy to sell you a Hondacare warranty, with the proviso that they will only cover parts upto the value of the UK equivalent.

In that comparison they really should have put the EK9 in, the rawest of the lot.
The DC5 is not as track spirited as the DC2 IMHO, but the DC5 is the better car, its improved everything over the DC2.
Can't see the DC5 ever coming to the UK officially in this guise, what ever the mags say, maybe when they facelift it.
