Audi TT - 4 passengers and a puncture is bad news
#1
I was reading an Audi magazine while in the dentist's waiting room today - if you have a puncture in an Audi TT, remove the spacesaver from the boot but don't put the road wheel in the boot - it won't fit! Apparently, you put it in a bag (provided) and rest it on the front passenger seat. A classic case of form over function!

never had a puncture in my life so cant see the problem...in fact im surprised they even put spares on cars now.
if i ever got a flat id call the rescue ppl and get taken where i wanted to go anyway....who the heck wants to change a tyre at the road side?????

I would think being IN an Audi TT is bad news enough, but to have to carry my mates in it aswell ? And then get a puncture ? <shudder>

LOL @ Tiggs
If I ever have the misfortune to be in Henley on Thames, and suffer a puncture, I'll change it in 5 minutes and be on my way while you sit and wait for the rescue services...
Still, at least you won't have had to actually do anything other than supervise the poor git who has the misfortune to come and help you when you arrive an hour or so late.
Mate, the more you post, the more the stereotpe fits

My sisters MG TF doesnt have a spare, it has a canister of foam or something that you plug into the cigarette lighter and fill into your tyre

im not supervising him...i'll be sat in the bemmer watching the tv while he fixes it.
i have run out of petrol a few times but i dont carry a spare can....why worry about tyres when they hardly ever go flat?
