The RS6 is amazing. It comes into it's own on the motorway when you have chance to experience the acceleration from 70+.

When you boot it, you think "****...this is quick" But there is more to come because when your foot is planted to the carpet you feel the pedal click onto a button, it's like a stage two and it go's mental

Have fun but don't bend it.

Danny, if you haven't already done the test-drive, do a search under RS6 - there are at least three decent threads on here over the past year or so. I'm currently weighing up whether to move all the clutter out of my garage to accomodate one. On one hand, i's a great machine, very fast, but not imo a true Blatmobile like a Scoob. Also, i thought the steering was pretty inert, especially after a razor-sharp car like an Impreza. But no doubt, the kudos of owning one is immense, if you can live with the depreciation.

Let us know how you get on.

Well just got home after test driving the RS6,what can i say very nice.it felt weird driving something that had three ways of changing gear.it had a similar grunt when starting it up as the scoobs have.
set of down the D road and it went like a rocket,so i thought untill you reach about 70mph then it just seems to kick in again and then its just goes crazy.it doesent seem as quik of the start as i thought it would, but thats probably cos its so smooth.
it takes abit off getting used to using the paddle gears, but you go that fast in auto,by the time you want to use the paddle gears your doing about 70mph.
really is a nice car tho,so smooth theres hardly any road noise, and the wind just flys over it.
it had all the toys as well, that was strange having a voice tell you where to go,satellite navigation.
really enjoyed it,all i have to do now is persuade me partner, should be fun cos she doesent like em
