so does anyone think that a 172 sport would keep up with a wrx?
one gave me a go the other day - (see previous thread) or am i worrying too much!!! its just i thought nothing could touch a scooby? seems now i finally have one there are quite a few things that can?????? another example honda civic type r (upto 90)
what is the blo*dy power of my motor? its a 96 wrx wagon with super unleaded in it with standard filer and stainles 4inch exhaust

I have a RenaultSport 172 & have no problem keeping up with most classic standard scoobies & can out pull the new age ones
My mate was amazed when I kept up with his MY2000 turbo & so was I to be honest. It doesn't feel as fast due to the way the power is delivered, but the speedo doesn't lie. You cannot argue with 169bhp/ton

the wifes cup can nearly keep up with my bugeye with 270 bhp. The cup is 6.5 to 60 so no slouch, a sh*t start in any scoob could hand it to the cup. They also run high 14s on the 1/4 mile standard or low 14s with de-cat and chip.
