the above, if money wasn't a problem what would be the top 5 cars you should own before you die in your opinion?
mine would be;
Mclaren F1 reason being, gotta drive the fastest car in the world
Subaru impreza the rallying feeling on the road
BMW M3 absolutely classic performance car
Ford mustang (any of them) absolutely lovely classic american muscle car, way ahead of its time when the 350 was built
Mini stonking classic british car, a must before you kick the sack

Fiat Multipla (must be a TD). You own the road in this. No, I am serious.
Any Alfa made before 1994. Even Clarkson agrees with me on this. You haven't really felt the passion of motoring until you have owned an Alfa.

I think more towards car categories, example mini, saloon, estate, coupe, luxury, 4x4 suv, supercar and etc. if I've had one in all categories I'd be happy
Not sure about other people but for me it has to be:
1) Farrari - Challenge Stradle
2) Mercedes - any nice big new one will be ok (black)
3) Range Rover - with bullet proof shell (all the rage in Russsia now)
4) Subaru Impreza with all the possible mods pushing out 500bhp plus (street legal too) - have a standard STi8 at the moment
5) I'd like a 6th option as this would be a convertable and a mini cooper s
I change my mind every week but the top two are certain

1 - Macca F1 (Ultimate speed)
2 - Porker 2.7 RS(Ultimate 911)
3 - Porker Carrera GT(Ultimate Roadster)
4 - Ferrari 250 GTO (Ultimate 'rari)

to appreciate the sublime you must first own the ridiculous
1. Citroen 2CV
2. A real Mini
3. VW Camper Van
4. Porsche 911
5. Mclaren F1/Ferarri F40/Enzo/other supercar
edited to add: So far I've owned 1-3, here is looking forward to no 4 and one day no 5.

2) Ferrari 355
3) Porsche 911 Turbo

Youn gotta go through the five stages of motoring to say you've walked the path of the petrolhead...
Supermini - Had one - Classic mini, never had so much fun in a car
Hot hatch - Got one - MkII Astra GTE Eventually it ran 15.6 1/4 miles with nitrous.
Affordable supercar - Had one - 3-door Sierra RS Cosworth. Awesome car. Will never forget our time together.
Supercar - Not yet - Would probably go for the GT40 or the Ferrari F40. Or the Porsche 959.
Bonkers Rallycar- Not yet - but I would like something from the Group B Era. Nice RS200 or Metro 6R4 would do the trick.
