The wife currently drives a chrysler voyager and the lease is up next month. We had decided to change to a 4x4 SUV but she has just had a change of heart and wants something sporty, and thats where I need help.
The car has to be able to carry two adults and three small children, 2 or 4 doors, priced anywhere up to about £25k its going to be contract hired, so up to about £400/month, or should I say, no more than the current Chrysler (£430/mth, but she does not like the likes of a sported up saloon car ie: Honda Type R or the likes, which is a shame, she likes the audi TT, and has seen the chrysler crossfire. performance not the be all and end all, must be quick.....can you help and suggest some options.

Hi, thanks, but I/she does not like the 3's, I think there overpriced for what you get, I tried pricing one up once, and it went from expensive, then when I factored all the essential options it was absurd!!!
cheers for thre comment though.

Try the Mazda RX8. I drove it before the journalists reviews were published and loved it. Watch the fuel gauge carefully though!!
I would have bought one by now if I lived on the UK mainland. It's very comfortable etc, but I didn't think it handled the really rough B roads quite as well as the Scoob.
There's more room in the back than you'd think too.
Something about great minds or fools springs to mind
Does the RX8 have 3 seats in the back? I can't remember - it may only be 2.
