hello peeps

A quick question.. a lad at work is just about to buy a gto twin turbo ,its a Jap import and he'd be 1st uk owner...

Q1-does the car ned remapping like a similar jap scoob would do?? (for peace of mind and uk fuel etc)
if yes..what costs are involved and would a decent remap yield some gains in the bhp etc?who could do it?

any advice would be helpfull..?

I belive the GTO is one car which you can unlock extra power easily with no harm. The Jap cars and UK cars are identical engine wise apart from the Jap cars have a plastic restictor which you simply remove to get another 20bhp.
