Someone on here was selling one recently.
I also know someone with a nice R (i think) reg black one which is for sale.
Mail me if you are interested and I'll ask him for more info.
They are pretty damn quick.

never seen a black one, silver and white are all I've seen. look on auto trader's web site there are a few for sale there. 0-60 about 8sec, 112mph limited, about 2 ton, the one I drove RR'd at 310bhp. hit speed limiter in 4th at 5600rpm (or there abouts) so had a bit more to come. Great motors! some sites claim 0-60 in 6sec but I don't really think they are that quick. I can’t find a good site at the moment for the spec.

Used to drive a mate's Pajero Evo fairly often.
It was quick and bloody good fun, blitzing boy racers was certainly entertaining. A bit tricky though, it caught me out once on full throttle on a change of surface by lighting up both back tyres at about 50mph in the wet (they are not permanent 4wd), which took some straightening.
Probably a good buy nowadays. From memory he paid close to £30k brand new (I think in 1998): I had an Impreza at the time and never thought it was worth nearly twice the amount I paid.
How much are these things going for now?

I have a feeling there are long wheel base and short wheel base version, can't be sure...
The one I mailed you about, the black one, is short.
Full spec and pictures will be mailed to you tomorrow.

The evo has better fuel economy than the 3.0 V6 petrol, they aren’t to cheap to run though, fuel cost is the biggest thing. The one I drove had 18” wheels on it with good road tyres this helps the handling no end, and looks better than them standard little 16” wheels. I know the owner has not had one problem with it so fare and now has had it about 3 years.
