would you be kind enough to help

I have a brand new engine sensor with bracket and cable from a Fiesta RS Turbo.

Its round 10mm diameter - approx 50mm long - then right angled bracket with a wire about 300mm long with a plug at the other end.
the sensor can be seperated from the wire as it has a connection plug.

just don't know exactly for what - and if its worth anything.

it has a Ford sticker with :-

FINIS CODE -NR 5028500 and also - A94FG 014B474-BA

on the sensor head itself it says :- 6C315 88WF-AD

any help much appreciated - don't want to throw it if any use to someone.

thanks David

It sounds very much like a crank position sensor, "AD" is probably "AB" to signify 0FAB, the version of the EFI management.

It's certainly of use, especially if new.

How much are you asking for it?

Adrian, Nat, Steve, thankyou. - obviously crankshaft position sensor and wire assembly.

Adrian-FRST - just make me a silly offer - I was told it was for FRST - but it definately says 88WF-AD, and steves list doesn't include FRST

thanks again
