I have the chance of opting out of my company car plan in March, I have a Passat TDI 130 with a Hoppa on (164bhp). I do about 30k p/y which makes residuals pants.
Would like better performance and some sort of image (not passat man image) and if I am running the fuel need something slightly sensible on mpg.
Any suggestions?

Civic Type-R ? That's what I got when I opted out. Reasonable on petrol and bags of fun for very little cash
