Could anyone tell me an easy way to perform this?
Is it a case of overnight battery disconect?

On the Peugeot 306, I've been told to unplug the battery for 10-30 minutes.
I guess leaving it overnight would just about cover it!!!

Yeah, just unplug the +ve terminal on the battery for at least 1/2 an hour...
