I remember some chap in the US a few years ago had a crack at this with an Ultima GTR as the donor car. I can't however remember any of the details.
I just wondered if anyone knows of the existence of one - after all cars like the GTD40 are still a lot of fun, despite being 'kits', imagine an F1 with a tuned M5 engine....
