Will all the people that dislike me please drive very close to my bumper so i can let off my throttle and en gulf you with seven foot flames ROFL.

That is of course total bollox.
Not only could you do rallies, but plenty of them too. There are higher classes where modifications are free, and the only RAC MSA reg is that the car be road legal - I think you're just scared that you'd get whooped big time!

Your'e joking. There's no such thing! Absolutely anything goes in the UK with rally cars. Look at David Kynaston's 6R4 engined Audi, or Andy Burton's Cosworth Pugeot 306! Trick rally Escorts have 2.4 engines with sequential boxes. The only thing the RAC are now going to clamp down on is motorbike engined cars.
Get yer rally licence!
