Used to have a mr2 top motor again bullet proof
One of the guys @ middlehurst motorsport(nissan) said they were good and an importer I spoke to said the same, the only down side is as they are not that popular the parts may be harder to source and a bit more expensive.

I want a change of wing (for a V5)
and a cheap car as the wife is learning at the moment and thankfully she refuses to drive the scooby
I need the clear indicators and side repeaters first though.

was a bit shocked at the cost !£100 for the 2 sets

I can't say form my won experience but some of the Charade GTti guys reckons ther Starlet ( Glanza) handles really badly with terrible understeer. The engine is not as reliable as other excellent Toyota lumps and is quite complex.

As a standard car its possibly an OK choice but I'm not sure what getting parts is like as they are very rare over here.

They do look good though !
