Just tried refitting the front wings, after welding in new A-Posts. The gap between wing / A panel & wing / sill are about 4-5mm. Any chance of measuring the gap on yours and letting me know what they are ?
Also are the gaps filled with flexible frame sealant ?

Thanks very much

Cheers

shaun,

even with my new bodyshell you could park a car in the panel gaps , 4-5mm sounds fine - i just try to get an even gap all the way round. i haven't put any sealant in the gaps.

Thought that would be the case. I measured everything very accurately and even managed to weld the A post where I wanted to.
The gaps match the door gaps so it should be right.
Modern cars are designed with tolerances of thousands of an inch. The midget designers must have been happy with an inch or two.

All the best

Steven,

Will have a look later.

I trust they also alter the archaic brakes.

Cheers
