Sensible(ish) car
#1
New to scooby net....but good things told 'bout you lot!
I have a saab 2.3 carlsson (I know corners corners...), but with 220hp and 245lbft...its one quick car (in a straight line!)
Its also proving to be a little unreliable...I dont have the time to spend under the bonnet these days (new job, house, baby)...so will keep for sunday blasts/possibly sell. My question is:
Need estate, under £8k Looking at:
1)vectra gsi (2000w reg, 40k miles)
2)mondeo (various)
3)saab 9-3(big hatch! 2.0T)
4)vw passat 1.8t
5)audi a4/a6 avant
6)nissan primera
7)toyota avensis
8)pug 406 110 diesel
9)volvo v40 (2.0i)
Needs to be reliable, cheap(ish) to run, SAFE, fun would be good....thoughts?
I thank you in advance!

You thought about the Skoda 4x4 Estate? Can be chipped up to 220bhp, 230 lb/ft for under 500 quid. Has the same 1.8T engine as VW/Audi and has the 4WD system as well
Or just go for the Audi/VW
