Is that why I just saw another bitchy note about car dealers from you on a diff thread? Why dont you use your energy more positively and then you may be able to, tee hee. Where are you studying?

I can only assume you were looking at the Scooby-Parts.com thread in *dealer and third party* where thos toe-rags have ripped off a few ScoobyNetters™, I dont have to own a car to get incensed by common theft do I?
Was just trying to voice my (often obnoxious) opinion.
Finished studying Im affraid, eternal student with a degree in fine art and pottery(hons) and fsck all prospects of a job
not much chance of me buying a house either at these fscking prices

Hey V1CK1, what Alfa do you have ?
I had a 75 Ltd Edition in Black, all I did to it was a panel filter, supersprint exhaust and a little lowering. I've owned a number of 'cool' cars, yet I still miss my 75 - sad isn't it !!!

Still miss my 33 16v (with boxer burble). Poor old HUGO (reg was H393 UGO) went to the big scrap heap in the sky when it was rear ended, writing it off.

My last car was an Alfa 164 Cloverleaf v6 3L 24valve.
Absolutely fantastic motor, sold it to the F.i.L.
Alfa red, black leather and that lovely v6 grunt.
Skoosh.
ps: Have you tried the ALFA 164 FORUM for my info?

If you want a 75 back, theres a scruffy but solid 2.0 ts , non-rusty one near me - the paints crap, the interiors bad but the electrics and mechanics and body are great. 12 months mot, 6 tax, just serviced.... £500
I went to have a look at it, very impressive but I dont have room for another car. yet
And if you want a 33, ill speak to my friend who is about to sell his series 3 16v cloverleaf.

I have a 24v V6 156, in pearlescent colour with the sportpak, high wing, black leather. Beautiful car but I no longer need her as I have a little Zetec sport and want a FRST. So my other half is gonna have her lowered and will put some 17" on her and chuck on an exhaust. Wont need anything else, we decided against the turbo as there is no point in mucking with a brilliant engine.
She is the most stylish car around and everyone comments on her. Most comfy car to drive! Always loads of bad press onm Alfas but they still come up tops on style and comfort.

hey Vicki, I dont not like you.
Alfa`s are beautiful and stylish, but they depreciate galacticly and have issues with selespeed (amongst other things), hence the moniker at the top.

Now means my other half is on his third, also having two 1.5 ti alfa suds previously. The doors didnt fall off those but on one of them the suspension arm did.
I dont think I like the alfa site. Bit confusing for me, not as easy to use as this one.
Want to get some 17" alloys to finish off the style

Vicki, There is a company called Novitec, I think they are located in Germany. They tune up and install turbos on Alfas. Try to run a search in Yahoo or similar. I know one guy who got his 2.0l 156 turboed by Novitec... It's a rocket... Good luck.
