Maybe...

..but I don't think so. I guess i like the Strosek one at the top, but it's a bit 80's!

There are waaaaay more than 3 as well. Loads of people made conversions. A thread on Rennlist got 20+ accounted for pretty quickly.

The first pic was from a Google Images search, the rest from a search in the 928 forum on Rennlist.com

Trying desperately hard not to post any more (full of ***** ) but as we have knowledgable Porsche people, do you know of any 964 rs for sale?

I had a few laps in one at the weekend around the 'ring and I must own one at some point it was amazing, however prices are going up, and at this rate it may be a while before I get my sticky mits on one.

You not been playing nice with the kids on Scoobynet Daveyboy?

I know someone who has just bought a 964RS. RHD and in silver - very nice.

Exactly!

How much did they pay, I guess you are going to say 35k?

To be honest I would prefer a LHD as they don't have power steering.

I don't know how much. It was the bloke's old car - he bought it back from the guy he sold it to. He's a club member down here but not one I know well enough to ask that sort of thing...

That cab in Heritage Cars Wellesbourne has been for sale for at least 6 months that I know of. A colleague of mine looked at it when originally advertised at 25K. I asked members of the 928 club about it and as far as they are aware there was never an 'official' Porsche 928 Cab. Gemballa are a tuning and conversion company just like RUF (both good names) and they do get chassis direct from Porsche but it would be risky to buy it as a rare Porsche cabriolet as to the best of my knowledge it is not.

I'll still probably buy GT Purely Porsche for a look tho

Had a new S4 in 1989, superb car.

Almost averaged a new set of rear tyres a month too!!

The earlier 928 is very dated now imo and a completely different motor to the later cars. More like a lazy American ride, at least the S4 was more urgent.
