I am thinking of buying a 1991 audi S2 with a Nortel conversion ?, anyone have any info, ever owned 1 with this conversion ??
he wants too much for it I think @ £8500, but it's had approx 30k spent on it over the last 12 years.
1 owner from new btw, which is him.
what are your thoughts for a 320bhp motor apparantly??

Sounds like of lot of money to me. I think the conversion was Nothelle - a German tuning house that converted BMW's, Audis and VW's during the 70 and 80's. Also, that engine and drivetrain would have spent a decade coping with 50% more power than standard so wear on the major componants will obviously be higher. Perhaps why its cost the guy 30 grand (!) in 12 years to keep on the road.
If it were my money, I'd get an original Ur-Quattro - G or H reg with the 20v engine. Now that is a seriously cool bit of kit. I'm not sure what condition 9k will get you, but as ever, get the very best one you can afford.
Just my thoughts.
