Help, 205GTi poorly sick
#1
I was out and about in the 205 on Friday in the heavy rain. Anyway I was having a bit of a twitch around the lanes and splashing through the big filthy puddles when the car sniffed some water and started to miss.
Eventually the misfire cured itself and the car went fine. Parked it up for the weekend and didn't use it, but last night it lapsed onto 3 cylinders and has never recovered.
Checked the usuals, found the dizzy cap to only have 2 prongs left. Replaced with new cap and rotor arm, but car still on 3 pots.
I have some new leads lying around at home, so will replace later. Haven't had time to whip the plugs out.
Any more suggestions before I ring a man that can? I once hydraulic-ed an engine years ago..

You might of clagged a plug up with missing all the time, whizz them out and give them a blast with a wire brush, re gap them, 1.0 - 1.1 mm and see how you go New plugs and leads wouldn't do any harm either though, good luck!
