M5 raffle, excess money to charity. Interested?
#1
Hello,
I am thinking of getting rid of my M5. It is an X reg face lift model with angel eye lights in Carbon Black. Very high spec with BMW warranty until April 2006. I will post the spec if there is enough interest in this. It would retail for £35k ish.
How about a Scoobynet user only raffle. £25 per ticket, we have to sell at least 2000 tickets. Draw made 10 days after 2000th ticket is sold. I want £33k for the car and the rest of the money can go to charity which the winner of the car chooses if ScoobyNet approves it.
Just thought it might be a good idea, someone gets a really good prize and gives a decent amount of money to a charity.
My Mrs is desperate for me to keep the M5 so I might change my mind about selling...if I do though, why not do this reguarly through ScoobyNet? I think it is a good idea.
[Typo on original message - warranty until 2006 not 2007]

Who owns Scoobynet? Is it a company or is it just people putting their own time in for free? Ideally it would be Scoobynet...if that is not possible, I am sure a firm of accountants would do it for free as it is a charity thing.
