Very nice mate

Leather only cracks on old motors and gives you a sweaty cleft in summer

Depends where you leave it?

It's not as if it's a brand new Ferrari and most won't even notice it's a genuine M3 (despite the LHD).

Loads of tarted up 325is look like your car.

It's called pride in ownership and you should be proud of it and your car. I wish I could have bought one (E30 M3) instead of the Impreza but I needed a 5 door to fit my gear in.

So, how long you gonna have this one Met?

Matt

P.S. Nice car BTW - all you need now is a trip to Powerstation for some MoTec goodies...

I love these cars... I bought mine from Germany about 12 months ago and have not looked back, the involvement and performance on track is awesome.

Very nice I wanted one of them but ended up with 'grale instead. They are supposed to be a real drivers car but sadly I have never had the pleasure of driving one

Fantastic motor - up there with a big bumper Golf Gti 16v, 911 Turbo and 20v Quattro as iconic German cars of the 80's. Keep the seats! It's sooooooo 80's and keeps the thing authentic though I suggest you loose those nasty headlight eyebrows and get it back to what its supposed to look like....

I've no idea?

I guess you could tart one up to look like a 22b if you were sad enough.

Have to agree with the eyebrow removal comment. These cars look best standard. Also I love the seats- so 80's.

i quite like the eybrow thingies, i'f i had the cash i would go for the leather, but then id want air con too, so i guess i may as well flog it when ive had my fun & get one with all the toys, + am having a mental debate about the fact that i have to leave it outside on the road all yr long & it is such a shame to do that to this car watch out in the for sale section in the not too near future

Depends where you live in London, mate!

Bottom line is it's only worth the same as 1yr old Focus and most people won't know what it is.

i wonder what nothaving the garage will do to my premium though? prob not as much as 600 i paid 700 fully comp, the worry isnt so much vandalism, i just really would hate to see such a nice car get all fcuked exposed to the elements n all

It wouldn't knock much off.

Has the M3 not started to rust at all around the arches?

What version is it? As an H reg is it the 210bhp?

there is one tiny spec near the front screen, & that is all, hence my concern about exposing to the elements 365 days a yr! not sure of the exact model all new to me i would say its a standard 210bhp one though, just looking on s14.net great m3 site indeed

I looked onto buying one a couple of years back (had a E30 325i and E36 325) but went for an MR2 Turbo instead after driving them both back to back.

Went for the kick in the back performance.

Why not invest in a decent cover for it?

bottom of the windscreen is the most common place to rust on the E30 M3... you probably cannot see the worst of it (!!) which is on the scuttle under the bonded windscreen. Like all rust, you got to be careful not to let it get too bad mate.

A legend and to anyone who matters it doesnt look like another tarted up 325i, in our house we are anti BMW, however there are a few models that transcend the "W4nker" image and are all the classier for it, your M3 is one of those, nobody nowadays has one because its the most expensive 3 series, its an enthusiasts car through and through, the M coupe is another. I want one !
