The questionwas raised that my figures for my car were impossible or unachieveable... I have just shown that they are not as described...
Jeff... as an ex-DB7 owner trust me, I get it more than you would know...

Not quite so outlandish now is it... BTW this was from the same sight that I consider to be more accurate then most and they are slower than some figures shown for the DB7

My Audi with 400BHP verses an AM DB7.....I'd take the DB7
There are somethings that transcend pure numbers....Aston Martin badges are one of them. Toyota Soarer is not.

The Aston Martin DB7 is a regular production version. You're comparing against a modified Soarer. Not really fair.
The Soarer certainly wins on the value for money side, but the Aston, to the majority has much more class and pedigree than a Soarer.
Wouldn't a more fair comparison be to compare a modified Soarer against a DB7 from Aston Martin "Works Service"?

You really don't get this car thing do you....
Very sad....never mind. At least your not inflating the prices of 2nd hand Soarers otherwise you'd be priced out of the market.

Mycroft, there is a DB7 sitting outside my office window. Tell me something about it that only the owner would know. I will then go and get the keys and have a look
I don't believe you ever owned one !

Picture the scene:
You're at a trackday and you're showing your Toyota off, but then an Aston turns up in the paddock and suddemly you're alone...
It matters not how fast your car is when class and rarity is the attraction. Money can buy all the accoutrements of class but it can't buy IT.
A bit like you really.

MyCroft, why've you edited your post to remove the bit where you said 'end of...Gary - we can but hope'?

Couldn't be true Moose, not since Mycroft would rather see anyone with cancer out of the way "to make room for the living", as per previous threads.
