Dear all,
I picked up my brand new Toyota on Tuesday and discovered yesterday a area on the bonnet of 2sq mm (small I know) that has totally missed the paint process and all you can see is undercoat.
The dealer has accept the paint fault and will respray the bonnet next week.
Do you think this is acceptable as I'm concerned about a manual spray process compared with the original factory finish ?
Do I have any way of rejecting the car ?
Any thoughts would be most welcome.
Thanks
A pi$$ed off Dave

If the car was bought via finance you do have 28 days in which to reject the contract(known as a cooling off period)best to contact your finance company and discuss the situ with them.
Personally i'd have it painted for free and be quite happy aslong as the colour match etc is perfect.
