Find a cheap MG Metro Turbo (I know of one going for £100), transplant engine and box (kit available from Avonbar).

While you're at it, nick the AP 4 pot brakes from the MG (you'll need the discs, calipers and hubs)

Get some uprated shocks and go have fun. If you get bored keep winding the boost up on the motor till it blows up.

Don't think that it's gonna be cheap or easy to do a Turbo conversion, I'm doing one with a mate at the mo, and he's already put out £2000 and we aren't finished.

What? How's he managed to spend £2000? I guess if you're doing a full engine rebuild/upgrade etc you can but you could do the whole job for about £200 including donor car if you want to do it on the cheap.

It's in the North-West (of England ) I'll forward you the e-mail I got from the owner. I was going to do the same project, but I'm getting married in August so couldn't justify the cost to the Mrs at the moment
