Just wondering . Are all Integra's imports are some official uk versions ? just wondering , investigating this route now and wouldnt mind knowing this as my insurance would obviously be more for imports.

AFAIK
there are UK cars. They started in around 98 in championship white(ltd production). there was then the black and red ones.
Earlier Tegs have rectangular headlights and are Japs.
TBH that is as much as I know however there are many Teg owners on here that will let you know but that was my starter for 10

There are plenty of UK one's around ,I picked up an S plate with 32k miles for £8.5k, there are plenty of good and bad examples around just like anything.

IMHO the UK car looks better with the small round lights compared to the Jap ones. I Think the Jap cars come with 16" rims as opposed to 15" rims for the UK. The mainfolds on the jap car may differ a little bitt in size too.

Try www.hondarevolutions.com for the forum.

All I can say it is the best drivers car I have had and has the highest £ = grin factor ratio.

I think the jap ITG-R has a 4 branch into 1 manifold, but the uk version has a 4-2-1 or was it a cast iron lump in to 2 -1

You can tell the difference by this

JDM Spec 96 - 98 15" Wheels, 4 Lug Wheels, 185bhp, Rectangular Headlights

JDM Spec 98 - 01 16" Wheels, 5 Lug wheels, Electric Folding Mirrors, 195bhp, revised damping, and geometry.

Most come with A/c too.

UK Spec - 98 - 01 - Round Headlights is the general way to spot them, All were Chapionship White until 2000 I think when Red and Black were made available, the only options were A/C and Foglights.

They run best on SUL/Optimax

Not like a Honda-R bod not to be absolutely spot on!

Stereo was also an option on (certainly the early, if not all) uk cars
