Hi peeps, ive seen plenty of REV3 MR2 turbos, however have you guys ever saw a REV5 turbo? Im getting one late June, I hear they are rare as rocking horse s*** as the japs are too fond of them themselves, or is that just sales talk?

I have to admit ive only ever saw 3 REV5 MR2's and they where all "uk spec" ones.

Im just thinking if no one expects a REV5 to be a turbo, it might well be worth taking the badges off that say it is

You must be paying a lot for that.

There's loads of Rev1 and 2's around, but the price seems to jump when they hit Rev3 (cos it's the best )

I've seen a fair few Rev4s, but never a Rev5 turbo. Lets see some pics when you get it!

Rev 5 Turbos are the end of the line and have yet to filter through to the uk.

No real difference to the Rev 3 other than cosmetics (I think).

How much?

Yikes, 15k, looks sweet though, the one im getting is sub 10, and its pretty much standard all over, which is what I want to keep insurance "down"

Thumbs up

PS try liverpoolvictoria.co.uk for insurance.

I used to pay £650 FC on my NA with Ady Flux, but most firms wanted £1500 FC to upgrade to a turbo.

LV quoted me about £750 FC
