Always liked the series 1..!!! loads better then the newer ones..!!! and i dont even like fords..

Just one thing mate...!! i dont know what them wheels will be like round corners..!! let alone a track day..!!!!

LOL....i dont plan on leaving it on 8 6" castor wheels!!

I have loads of piccies of the full strip down and rebuild if you want to see them.

I think these where the best front wheel drive Ford ever made (my opinion....cant comment on the FocusRS) which is why i wanted to restore one of these rather than a 2 a penny Mk4 RS or summat similar.

Funny you should say that, I passed an X-reg one in silver yesterday. Looked pretty straight. Don't think it was a turbo.

Well, R5 GTT's might be quite rare on the roads, but there are still a few around and I have 2 of them!

As for 205 GTi's there are still loads about...

remember seeing the initial build of this on RSOC BB, looking like it is going to be a minter when it's done, your going to use the standard wheels yeah?? i think after market rims will kill the mintness and authenticity of it

I do have a website but its a bit crap unfortunately ...i will be doing a better one on my blueyonder webspace

All the GSi's must be in the North of Scotland - there are millions of them - the only car that gets close in numbers is Impreza's
