Have a look on www.mobile.de if you haven't already. A non TME Evo 6 seems to go for €30k

Cool

I have looked on there and on autoscout24.de.

Still think they are a bit pricey for a 3 year old car! I'm also after a red one and there ain't to many of them in Germany.

Soz mate - haven't been back all day! I'm referring to Blighty. I've been watching the prices of 6's, TME's and 7's as I'm thinking of going down that route in a few months. Those are the sort of prices they are going for in GBP at the mo.

That's ridiculous money to be asking.

Given that you can get a good low mileage GSR for £18k+ the TME isn't worth an extra £7k for what it is IMO.

Shop around mate. He's taking you for a ride

Unhappy

If the guy has the only LHD one in Europe, it's unfortunately worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it.

I have the same problem - Portuguese cars are ridiculously expensive new due to the tax, and for this and other reasons all the second-hand stuff is almost what you'd pay for a new car in the UK. But because you need a LHD one, UK is out of the question.

I looked at a Caterham Seven here, an eight year old 1.4 K series with 130bhp upgrade and other bits. He wanted 22.5k€ at final offer, that's almost 14 grand sterling, the UK price would be 10-11. But new he paid 40k€, so why should he lose so much?

Wurzel, when you find out how much they were new in Italy, does his price make more sense?
