Does anyone know where I could start to look for info on tuning one of these?
I have a mate that wants so minor mods and to make it look a bit more meaty
Thanks

Just to point out RSD (UK Oettinger Importers) web address is actually http://www.roadandsport.co.uk

tell your friend to get the engine mods done and then make it look less meaty- get a diesel badge for it. Wish I could make my UK classic wagon look more like a GL but that pesky bonnet scoop gives the game away. STEALTH is so much more fun.

As well as seatcupra.net, have a squint at the floowing site...

As for tuners, there are lots out there...
Oettinger - www.roadandsport.com
Imposible - www.impossible-performance.cwc.net
Jabbasport - www.jabbasport.com
MTM - www.quattrosports.com
Revo - www.revotechnik.com
AmD - www.auto-amd.com
Depending on the year of your car, a chip on it's own will inclease BHP from the stock 180BHP up to between 215 and 230BHP. the Jabba re-map will set you back £425 fitted incl rolling roads from before & after.
Edited to add that if you want it to look a bit meatier, try going to SEAT themselves and order a Cupra R kit, or if it is the older model get the MY03 front & rear bumpers...
