****.

Just had a phone call from the restoration specialists to say the Merc can come in anytime from Thursday onwards for its full bare metal respray.

So, just lashed out £500 on new panels at Mercedes.

And, over the next eight weeks or so will be sinking £3500 into the old girl.

So much for my master plan of 'buy N/A RWD cos its cheaper than Turbo 4wd'

Ho-hum - more money down the pan.

Must remember to enter the 'Most expensive Mercedes Cosworth' competition.

Must also remember to stop being a petrolhead

Will be taking before and after photos

why not just use old oil cans? they should be boxey enough.
and you can buy loads of spray paint at halfords all diffrent colours and everything.

keep a couple of quid aside for your anti-static strips though, they dont come cheap.
