Doesnt make me misty eyed like the UR Quattro but I have always appreciated the 9000 as it fits with my ideas of a proper car
1/ Impressive
2/ Cheap to buy
3/ Fast (at least the turbos)
4/ comfy
5/ It isnt a BMW !

So many pics! lol
The 900s were the best. Dad had a 900 carlton in black, leather, nice wheels, bodykit etc and looked mean! I remember being a little kid always wanting to go for a drive in it. That was one mean car

Wow! Glad you uploaded these elsewhere to take the strain off my site (http://www.saab9000.com) where a lot of these photos originated.
Mine are the three silver 9000s in a row and the middle of the three (the 9000 Aero) is the same car pictured speeding around the Goodwood Motor Circuit further up.
Some nice pics I hadn't seen before.
J4CKO: "3/ Fast (at least the turbos)"
I just got back from Goodwood today after hammering just about every car there in my Aero, including two Ferraris (a 348 and a 355), an M3 (not a new one) and a couple of Porsches. The only one I struggled with was an Elise III. OK, so my Aero's no longer standard, but people are amazed that a big executive luxobarge with enormous leather seats and air con. can show "serious" sports cars a clean pair of heels.
I'm certainly a fully-paid-up member of the Saab 9000 Appreciation Society.
