Yippee,

I had me BHP tested on Friday. I drive a 1.5l Yaris TSPort. All i have done is added a HKS back to cat exhaust and Induc Kit. My b/f took it to be tested (while i had to use his scooby!!) They have listed that the std BHP for the car is 107 and mine is now a lovely 119 - have the paperwork to prove it if anyone doubts. I am so pleased. i have had the car for 8 mths so this is the year i mod her up. Next to be done is to up my wheels to 205/16's - I have already spoken to a local garage who will sell me all the alloys and the tires for around £600 notes - Watch this space as i will have a set of 15"s with useable tyres to sell. I cant wait - this year looks good.

[dumb female mode on]

It was a garage in Lewes - East Sussex - can't remember the name cos my b/f had it done

[dumb female mode off]

- i can dig out the p/w and post if you wish, but seeing as your from Bonny Scotland it wont be ideal for you. It was highly recommend, a friend of a friend works there and they are nice guys who know what they are doing (supposdley (sp)). If there are any Sussex Peeps out there who may know it, it is on the junction with Lewes Prison.

Did they use a powerful rotor fan to blow air into your "cold air intake"?

MissT , you may not have seen such a big increase in bhp of the car , if you have then thats a good improvement for those couple of mods. Ther manufacturers can be reserved on quoting figures sometimes.

When i had my car chipped by AmD , they did a before and after on the car. Listed bhp is 115 , before the remap rolling road tested at 125 bhp and after the remap it went upto 136bhp. So comparing to listed bhp it was quite an increase in bhp from standard (21) but in reality it was only 11.
