I have the ability to change my 20k miles scooby MY99 turbo, exellent condition, with a new Civic type R for the same money!
I would like to read your opinion about this...
...should I make this change??

Beer or wine?
I hope you see my point! They are different cars?
In drag racing stakes if the MY99 is standard it won't be massively quicker. But due to the low down grunt of the turbo it should be faster point to point as you'll be stiring the box more on the CTR to keep it on cam. I have an MY99 and I like the CTR...but I like the traction in the wet and dodgy conditions of the scooby so probably wouldn't change to a FWD.
CTR's hold their value well at the moment so why not buy it and run it for a few months and see how you like it. If you don't you can always sell it for a minimal loss and pick up a good and no doubt cheap MY00
