Anyone know of these, or had one? My brother is looking into one but any advice from the helpful guys at scoobynet would be much appreciated.

You need to post this on the Lancer forum where all the EVO's currently hang out.
The lancer register started with enthusiasts of the original RWD Lancer turbo which shared the same 2.0ltr Turbo engine as the starion. This is before the EVO boys were invited in.
Anyway, form my own discussions the 2.0 is the one to get, rather than the 2.6 as it is more tunable. The early cars had no intercooler but a cossie one fits nicely with some pipework. some of the Satrions had LSD rear axles which is a bonus.
Your best bet is still the LTR forum www.lancerregister.com
