Saw a dark blue one the other day, nice.
Or Dark green looks nifty too.
Just don't buy the Silver as just about every TT owner has that colour.

I've also noticed they do some special edition colours which look nice. Ones a nice bright red, and the others a silver/grey. Torn between those and the denim blue at the moment.

Hi
One of my mates has a 225bhp grey one with "sportline"? package (18" wheels, titanium lights, grey leather) and another has a standard black one. The grey is in a different league and looks much more expensive/classy that the common silver or black.
Apparently his is the only coupe in this colour/spec in the country so no wonder is stands out. It really does look stunning
I could post some pics from home later if that helps...

I do like the grey also. I've always wanted a silver or grey coloured car, but never owned one yet. Silver is way to common on the TT's.
If my girlfriend saw the purple, I reckon she would pick that. Don't think I could risk being seen on the odd days that I would drive it.
What sort of performance is the V6?

Not alot of difference to the 225. Its a 250bhp version of the Golf R32 engine. Think performance wise its pretty much the same as the 225, perhaps a few tenths of a second quicker.

Still not as quick as the scoobs then. The performance stats on the 180bhp coupe is a little disappointing. 0-62 in 8.2 secs, and the 225BHP is 0-62 in 6.9 secs.

There is a real good colour, its like a kind of dolphin colour only lighter, its darker than silver but real good... One of the doctors at the hospital where i work has one, 2 other doctors have them too, a yellow one which looks crap and a black one...

Why don't you go for Avus silver/grey, grey leather,2 tone dash and 275bhp like mine (chuffed to bits)............................................. ......wait for it and handles better than my old P1.....

If that pic's the non-metallic grey then IMHO it looks very cheap. I've seen one in the flesh and the first thing I thought was "Jeez, surely someone who can afford a 225bhp TT can afford metallic paint too...."

I think it's the Avus silver that is one of the special colours available that I was interested in. The grey does look nice. Just so happens the TT has the same tyres as my UK300, so a quick swap will be in order as my G/F doesn't do too many miles. That will save me around £800.
