Reminds me of the time I enquired about a Honda SP1 Motorbike. The salesman said demand was that high their dealerships had sold 200 and I would never see one in a showroom! However if I wanted to pay a deposit they would see if they could get one for me...

Or the time when Scoobs MY97 were very hard to come by and no main dealers were offering discount apart from one that offered 8% for buying two

The RS is not sold out yet. If you order now you should be able to get one in May/June.
At the moment they are going for 23k if you want one now.

Were only making a couple of thousand a year is what Ford Said when they released the Puma. Then due to demand they changed their minds. Good car but didn't help sustain high prices.
