Audi S3
#1
I have just sold my impreza
But am now looking for a new car
I'm almost sold on an S3. I have had a wee trawl around the WWW, looking at pictures and reading bits and bobs.
From reading mag reviews, it seems they are not as good on the limit as scoobs, but are a fair bit more refined. I want to calm myself down for a while, so I am thinking if the limit aint as nice a place to be at, as in the scoob, I'm not going to visit it as often.
I am thinking about a standard 210 model.
Anyone got any experience or thoughts on this? Or any buying advice.
Cheers dwk

Have a look at Audi-sport.net. You can get load of advice on buying S3's there.
Having an S3 myself I can tell you that they are not as quiet as involving to drive and the exhaust note isn't as good. It is still a fun car to drive and will corner & and accelerate as fast as a standard scoob.
Quality & and interior are second to none - but second hand prices can be a bit high compared to Scoobs.

Ok so I have to get one with Bose upgrade, then the exhaust note don't matter.
There is quite a few up for sale, but they are all a lot more than the price glass's guide quotes. Not been looking long enough to see if they are selling or not though.
Anyone sold an S3 lately, if so a rough guide of what to pay for a 2000 car would be great

Theres not a lot in it.
My mildly modded MY99 was all over the back of one of these. He pulled over and I gently sailed through. He gave me a wave too! All very sporting
