Friend of mine has a 1993 single point fuel injected 1.4 Astra which is mis-firring (is that spelt right!). Was only doing it on cold start up but now doing it when warm also.

Could it just be fouled plugs or could there be something more sinister ?

Thanks

real helpful guys

might be the coolant temp sensor - typically makes the car overfuel - especially when cold, though if it's a genuine misfire, not just lumpy running, it's usually electrical - dizzy cap / rotor arm most likely suspects.
