The old battle wagon may be on its way to a new owner, have got a Merc M class on trial, its a v reg with 28 k, very nice, superb drive, quick enough. Not my cup of tea but a Very good deal and the Volvo is getting on a bit (94) but in good nick with only 75 k on

Its Silver with Grey leather, Climate (none in the Volvo), Cd changer, the works

I will miss the turbo rush of the Volvo but I think this may preserve my licence, found myself sticking to speed limits !

Will keep my GTI as its a labour of love and the missus will use the Merc, Still not allowed a Scoob though !

What do you reckon I should do?

Do you need a 4*4? Surely an E-Class or 5 series wagon will be cheaper to run and buy as well as being better to drive....

its a ML320 in Silver with all the toys, an E class would be better but thats not whats on offer, we dont need a 4*4 and it seems a bit ostentatious, have been using it for 2 days, its lovely to drive and when you boot it, it does move resonably well.

It does however use a lot of Petrol so it may be a Passat 130 or similar after all !
