Anyone ever had a GSI3000...???

Yeah, my mates Dad used to have a GSi 24v and it was great.

They are dirt cheap now too and a LOT of car for the money!

Nice for some sideways fun...

Thumbs up

If you can ignore the bodykit they are fantastic fun cars to drive. Very grunty, it's so easy to light up the back end in second. They last a long time (same underpinnings as the Senator, Plod's all-time favourite chariot). German build quality as well, they really are as well put together as a Merc or BMW.

Cheers for the info..

Brun.. it would be nice, but the GSI i've been offered is for £700.. and ufortuantely we bought a house last year and are still doing it up....$£$£$$£$£$£$...

As good as the 205 DTurbo I need something that's quick.. especially after having the VEMAC for the weekend..!

anyone owned one themselves... is it progresive or snappy, etc...

thanks..

I use to drive one years back, company car. The power can be quite brutal in 1st and 2nd, and yeh it is progressive in a slide, 0-60 is around the 6.5-7secs mark, 150-160mph topend. The GSI in my hands was quite a dangerous car imo IIRC they have a really really bad accident damage record to. Having said that cheap cheap motors now, so bargain entertainment.
